Fragrant, zesty, and full of flavour, these Thai lemongrass chicken wings are cooked until golden and slightly crisp. The marinade brings a balance of citrus, garlic, and savoury depth.

Lemon Herb Chicken Plated Dish

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1kg Thai frozen chicken wings (thawed)
  • 2 tbsp lemongrass paste (or 2 stalks fresh, finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1–2 fresh red chillies, finely sliced (adjust to taste)
  • Optional: coriander leaves + lime wedges for garnish

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

  1.  Marinate: Mix lemongrass, garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, lime juice, oil, and sliced chilli. Toss          wings to coat. Marinate 15–20 mins (or longer if time allows).

Cook (choose your method):

  1. Oven: Preheat oven to 200°C. Arrange wings on a lined tray. Roast 40–45 minutes, turning once, until golden, crisp, and cooked through.
  2. Grill Pan: Heat pan over medium‑high and lightly oil. Cook wings 20–25 minutes, turning frequently, until charred in spots and cooked through (internal temp 75°C).

      Finish: Garnish with coriander and lime wedges

  • With steamed jasmine rice
  • As a party snack with beer
  • With a light cucumber salad

✨ Pro Tip:

Reserve a little marinade, simmer it for 2–3 mins, and drizzle over wings before serving for extra flavour..
